About The Destination Wedding Site
"The Destination Wedding Site" was built while I was planning my own destination wedding at the gorgeous Dreams Tulum Resort in Tulum, Mexico.
I scoured the internet every day (practically all day LOL) looking for tips and ideas for how to plan and pull off the most beautiful destination wedding for our closest friends and family.
I found some great sites out there but I also felt I had a hard time finding the information I was looking for in an easy to read format that helped walk me through the process every step of the way ... so that's what I've set out to do with "The Destination Wedding Site."
I've learned so much about destination weddings ... the do's and don'ts ... and money saving tips and ideas ... all kinds of DIY (Do It Yourself) projects ... and much more - and I want to share everything I've learned with as many other destination brides as possible so you too can plan your dream wedding on any budget. You can also follow along as I plan and make decisions for our destination wedding as I will be posting my ideas and dilemmas right here on the site and on the blog. Please jump in and comment so we can all learn from each other from this experience.
This site is a work in progress and will be for years to come I'm sure ... Again, if you're here be sure to introduce yourself and comment on the articles and posts ... because we can all learn so much from each other and it's so fun to meet other destination wedding brides (and grooms).

We also do a great "Qs & As" on our blog and you can submit your question by using our Contact Us form. Please choose the option for this using the drop down box on the contact form so we know it's OK to share your question on our site.

I am a Toronto based wedding planner, I don’t traditionally do Destination Weddings but I am interested in sending my clients who are looking for that service to a reputable place. I do get a lot of requests from around the world because I am one of the original wedding planners on Rich Bride Poor Bride, which airs in 75 countries world wide.
